If you’re expecting some polished corporate piece of prose that blathers about what jargon and buzzwords we will employ to keep you and your company safe from digital harm, I’m afraid you’ve knocked on the wrong door.
Nor will we talk about our team or sing its members’ individual praises, or bragging about how they’ve saved multinational corporate bacon time and again.
As we said on the homepage:
We’re Not “Just Another” Privacy & Security Outfit
Now that we’ve established what Back to Freedom is not, let’s talk about what we are:
We are a fulltime team of three tech troubleshooters with a combined professional experience approaching 100 years. Back To Freedom also draws on a number of trusted, long-standing part-time team members on a contract-by-contract basis.
And yes, in the past we’ve helped a large number of major international corporations to get out of trouble, recover from disasters, secure their IP, and harden their security.
These days, however, we’ve turned our back on the corporate market sector, and are actively focusing on protecting free speech and privacy instead.
So Who Are We?
Unsurprisingly, a company whose mission is to fight big tech, government surveillance, and censorship will be somewhat reluctant to doxx its own staff members, so you’ll forgive us if we don’t list every member of our team, complete with contact phone numbers and home addresses.
With that said, we do have a public face:

Sasch Mayer
Digital forensics and disaster recovery specialist with well over three decades of experience in the field of Online & Offline Business Troubleshooting, Digital Disaster Recovery, and Digital Forensics.
Formerly part of Google’s frontline webmaster support, between 2008 and 2023.
Now dediated to fighting big tech and government surveillance and censorship in all its forms.
You’ll meet more of us virutally when you hire us and after we’ve done our due diligence on you.
Until that time the rest of the team chooses to remain anonymous.
