When the bank app goes down, the border agent asks for your phone or the heating bill doubles, the plan you need is the one you already made. The Arsenal modules now live in one app on your phone, tablet or computer. You complete them, they save on your device and they keep working even if the Internet is down.

The Arsenal app comes with every Seer and Sage membership, so pick the tier that fits how you plan.
What The App Is
The Arsenal is the BackToFreedom library of practical guides and modules for staying free of the systems that track, tax and squeeze ordinary households. Until now, most of it came as practical guides and reading material. The new BTF Arsenal app (marked by the phoenix icon on your home screen) turns 13 of those worksheets into interactive tools. Totals calculate as you type.
We built it the way a dystopian sci-fi author like Harry Harisson would want it to protect his privacy: Quiet, self-reliant, and away from anyone else’s database.
Everything you enter is saved on your device only. Nothing is sent to BackToFreedom.
What’s Inside
The tools sit in three groups.
Economic Arsenal. A household fuel budget for November to March, a plan to spread your money across unrelated banks with a cash reserve at home, and a checklist that shows when each variable-rate debt resets and what a rise would cost you.
Strategic Arsenal. The new Emergency Exit Planner is the centerpiece. It maps warning signs to four response tiers and gives you a readiness score, a document vault checklist, rally points and code words, go-bags for each person, printable tier cards and a drill timer. Next to it are a shipping-chokepoint contingency checklist (Hormuz, the Red Sea, the Black Sea, Panama Canal), a travel-disruption checklist and a travel-device kit for border searches.
Digital Arsenal. Checklists for age checks and app-install rules, an audit of the license plate cameras on your commute (with letter templates), data minimization, device compartmentation, a threat model for local organizing groups and a messenger threat model for your family’s chats.
How Your Data Is Protected
You can turn on a passphrase lock. It encrypts your saved worksheets on the device, and the app relocks itself after 10 minutes in the background. Nobody can recover that passphrase, including us, so pick one you’ll remember.
You can save an encrypted backup file of every tool, keep it on a USB stick or with someone you trust, and restore it on a new device. If you need the device “cleaned,” Wipe this device erases all Arsenal data on it.
The app checks your membership with the site, and it keeps working offline for 14 days between check-ins. In a genuine emergency, we broadcast a short emergency password that unlocks every tool for 45 days with no connection.
IMPORTANT: Your own data is never deleted by a membership check. Your Exit Planner stays readable regardless.
What it means for you: Your plans now travel with you and work even when the network doesn’t.
Which Membership Gets It
Seeker is free. You get notifications of new content and the Threat Level Assessment tool, but not The Arsenal.
Seer costs $35 a year (about $3 a month). You get the full Arsenal app, weekday briefings, the monthly report, email support and 20% off services.
Sage costs $20 a month or $120 a year. You get everything in Seer, plus weekly economic and geopolitical reports with forecasts and predictions, chat support, a monthly call with us, periodic crypto tips, and 35% off BTF’s range of professional services.
If you want the tools, Seer is the entry point. If you want to know what’s coming before you need the tools, Sage is the one.
What You Should Do Now
- Pick your tier on the Rekindled membership page.
- Sign in, open “Arsenal Tools” and add it to your phone’s home screen.
- Start with the Emergency Exit Planner, turn on the passphrase lock and save your first encrypted backup.
Nobody gets to choose when the next crisis lands.
You do get to choose whether you meet it with a plan already in your pocket or by trying to write one when the lights go out.
The Arsenal is there so you can be ready before it hits, and stay ready, on your own device and on your own terms.
